Our Housing Programs 

SmartHaven Foundation provides structured shared housing designed to support individuals through stabilization and transition. Our programs focus on safety, accountability, and connecting residents to resources that help them move toward long-term independence. We currently offer two housing pathways based on individual needs.

🏠 Emergency Program (Up to 30 Days)

 

Our Emergency Program provides immediate, short-term housing for individuals experiencing housing instability or crisis. This program focuses on stabilization, safety, and connecting residents to next-step resources.

Program Includes:

 

• Shared housing in a monitored environment

• Fully screened residents (background checks required)

• Structured house guidelines

• Weekly check-ins

• Resource referrals (employment, benefits, housing support)

• Cameras in common areas and exterior for property protection

 

Length of Stay: Up to 30 days

 

Weekly Program Fee: $175 per week

 

Ideal For:

✔ Emergency placements

✔ Individuals exiting homelessness

✔ Short-term stabilization

✔ Agency or hospital referrals

🏡 Transitional Housing Program (30+ Days)

Our Transitional Housing Program supports individuals who are ready for longer-term housing while working toward independence. This program provides continued structure, accountability, and supportive services.

 

Program Includes:

• Shared housing with structured living environment

• Fully screened residents

• Individual goal planning

• Employment and life skills support

• Continued case coordination

• Weekly accountability check-ins

• Safe property monitoring

 

Length of Stay: 30+ days (based on individual needs)

 

Weekly Program Fee: $175 per week

 

Ideal For:

✔ Individuals transitioning from emergency shelter

✔ Veterans

✔ Returning citizens

✔ Individuals who can live independently 

✔ 18+ (Aging Out the system) 

Eligibility Requirements

To participate in our programs, individuals must:

 

• Complete intake application

• Pass background screening

• Agree to house & program guidelines

• Be willing to work toward personal goals

• Participate in weekly check-ins (if necessary)

 

Additional requirements may apply depending on placement availability.

📩 Referrals & Intake

 

SmartHaven Foundation accepts referrals from agencies, case managers, hospitals, shelters, and community partners. Individuals may also self-refer.
